If you are number 3 why not dominate the entire 1st page. You may be able to do this by using linkwheels. Link wheels can do this if done properly. you could try a few things like free seo software, webceo is tells you pretty well everything you need for free, i think traffictravis is another great free one, more basic but very useful, learn about about basic keyword strategy and baclinks, ezine articles, even use squidoo, using these strategies should get you the 1 ranked spot no problem, but that’s just my opinion

Actually i am not sure if you have a good SEO that he could make sure your site will be list on the result when people type in “Recording Studio Philadelphia”.
I will say you could do something by yourself first, easy and works well.
Submit your link to Google, Yahoo, bing, if these search engine already have your link, you could also do is, go to free directories to submit your url and have some back links, have some link exchange with some useful but not competitors site, this is normally what SEO will do.

i did a little research on your keyword “Recording Studio Philadelphia” and see that its not a very competitive term to target. so getting that site ranked on the front page of google will not be very hard.
you can actually do it yourself without even hiring an seo company. if you hire an seo company with a contract where they are responsible for getting your site ranked on the front page, then the cost can be significant. but if you know what you need to get your site ranked high, then you can just buy some link building packages that will do the same job for a fraction of a cost.

If you’ve ranked that well then you’re probably doing some things right. But it seems you need more research to find out more keywords you want to rank for, and what the strength of your competition is.
I suggest you use traffic travis (http://www.traffictravis.com) – it’s free and it will tell you what you missed on your specific site that you need to have (title tags etc.)
Other than that you need to get backlinks. The more backlinks the better. You can check to see when Gil Corner is doing one of his free webinars for local businesses teaching this stuff (http://www.gilscorner.com/webinar). Again, this is free and it’s awesome content.
