Are There Any Monitoring Software To Check Which Computer(s) Causing Traffic In A Busy Network?

Either commercial software or shareware. Assume the network is with or without internet access. I like to compare both situation.

    The easiest and least expensive way that I can think of is, assuming that you are using an internet broadband router with computers plugged into it, first connect a “network hub” (not a network switch) to that router, then plug your other computers into the hub. On your computer, download and install Ethereal ( http://www.ethereal.com/ ). Use this program to analyze the traffic.
